SSL MX4 ist ein Multi-Kanal I/O- Soundcard mit integriertem SSL Software DSP-Mixer in einer einzelnen PCIe Karte. Die MX4 basiert auf der bewährten Stabilität der Madi Extreme, ausgestattet mit zwei optischen MADI-Anschlüssen, die gleichzeitig 128 Eingänge und Ausgänge zur Verfügung stellen. Darüber hinaus wird mit der MX4 ein SSL Digital Mixer mit SSL EQ, Channel Dynamics und Bus Compressor zusammen mit weiteren hilfreichen Prozessoren geboten.
